Join artist Bhuwal Prasad, whose solo exhibition Perpetual Drift is being presented at Travancore Palace, running 27–30 September 2026, presented by Eikowa Contemporary, for an engaging hands-on sculpture-making workshop inspired by his distinctive artistic practice.
Guided by the artist, participants will explore Bhuwal's playful approach to forms, figures, imagination and everyday visual references to create a mini figurine or a unique bag charm—something personal that you can take home with you. Drawing from the visual language and spirit of Perpetual Drift, the session encourages participants to experiment, personalise their forms and embrace the joy of making.
About the Artist
Bhuwal Prasad, born in 1987 in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, is a contemporary artist whose work brings together tribal aesthetics, folkloric narratives, and contemporary visual language. Educated at Banaras Hindu University and the College of Art, Delhi, Prasad is known for his bold colours, broken lines and expressive figures.
Drawing inspiration from ancient civilisations, prehistoric rock art and early visual traditions, his works evoke the feeling of modern-day cave paintings, populated by human, animal and fantastical forms. His practice bridges ancestral memory and contemporary life, creating a playful yet deeply rooted visual world.
